Mobile tyre fitting
Flat tyre at home, at work or at the roadside? Our mobile tyre fitting service brings the tools and the tyre to you across Greenock, Port Glasgow, Gourock and the surrounding Inverclyde area — so you do not need to risk driving on a damaged tyre.

How to check your own tyres
- Tread depth: the legal minimum in the UK is 1.6mm across the central three quarters. A 20p coin test is a quick guide — if the outer band of the coin is visible, get them checked.
- Pressures: check monthly when cold, using the figures in your door shut or handbook. Under-inflated tyres wear faster and use more fuel.
- Condition: look for bulges, cuts, embedded nails and uneven wear — uneven wear often points at alignment or suspension issues.
- Age: tyres harden over time. Check the four-digit week and year code on the sidewall if the tyres are old but look unused.
