This notice explains how Wright Garage & Recovery handles personal information. We are the data controller for the information you give us.
What we collect
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Vehicle details such as registration, make and model
- Location details where you request recovery or mobile tyre fitting
- Any notes you give us about the work required
Why we use it
We use your information to respond to enquiries, arrange bookings and recovery, carry out and record work on your vehicle, and to meet legal obligations such as MOT records. Our lawful bases are performance of a contract, legitimate interests and legal obligation.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share information only where necessary with parts suppliers, the DVSA for MOT records, recovery partners assisting with a job, and our IT and hosting providers.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months. Job and invoice records are kept for six years to meet accounting and warranty requirements.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@wrightgarageandrecovery.co.uk or call 01475 742374. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
